Currently, the LPO NetCDF files have the grid points that make up the "core region" of the LPO mask. It would be better for them to include the "full" area as well (e.g., including accumulation period and filter radius). This information could be used to more easily generate the mask files, and even calculate things like volumetric rainfall "on the fly" without even using a mask file.
