When ö is pressed (german layout) the layout switches once (unexpected) and doesn't switch back. The layout switch key (caps lock in my case) is without function. Restarting lswitch with the same shortcut helps until next ö. Other German letters with diacritics äüß work fine, Russian ж (that is at the same key as the German ö) works fine as well.
