Design of Walter web site

I'd like you to design the web site of Walter.

I've made the outline of contents of the site like this.

The source of this site is here.

I've created this by Jeykyll for just mocking the site.

But you can abandon this totally and re-create it from scratch.

I'm using this site as a reference.

I'd like to write contents by Markdown or other markup languages other than raw HTML.

So it would be nice that you design the site by using Jekyll, Middleman or other static site generators.

I have extended the Jekyll example you provided and pushed my initial changes that demonstrate an idea for the basic layout.
