Page button/template combo example in landscape mode

Hello! @wanze I'm mentioning you here because you do not seem to be responding to any others' issues that were posted after (I don't have the list in front of me, so I'd say) 2015. I'd like to use the download button/template combo to control the download of PDFs, but I also want some control over the downloaded PDF. For instance, I would like an example of a download button/template combo that forces the page orientation to landscape, but only when the one template is used. Thank you!

My apologies, unfortunately I do not have a lot of time to maintain this project these days. Regarding your question: You would need to modify the page orientation setting of the WirePDF object whenever a PDF of your template X is generated. Dummy code (untested):

$wire->addHookBefore('Pages2Pdf::createPDF', function (HookEvent $e) {
  $page = $e->arguments('page');
  
  if (!$page->template->name === 'my_landscape_template') {
    return;
  }

  // Set orientation to landscape
  $pages2pdf = $e->object;  
  $wirePDF = $pages2pdf->getPDF();
  $wirePDF->pageOrientation = 'L';
});
