Perhaps the frontend GUI settings can be extracted from the ladybug's settings?
The spacing can be removed, and the version information can be displayed elsewhere.

I always have to scroll down in order to save something.
I also noticed sometimes for boolean settings a dropdown is used, and sometimes a checkbox.

The settings dialog has been updated in the newest ladybug code. It has tabs now. Here is tab "Everyone":

And here is tab "Personal":

Tab "Everyone" has settings that are stored on the server. These settings apply to every user of the Ladybug instance. Tab "Personal" has settings that are saved in the browser. These are user-specific. They are persistent over restarts of the browser and of the server.

We intend to remove "Show multiple reports in debug tree". The checkbox "Use transformation for report XML" used to control only loading reports. In the newest ladybug code it also applies when report XMLs (summaries) are downloaded. When you download reports from the debug tab, there is an additional checkbox:

It allows you to omit reports when their XML summary is empty. Users can thus use the XSLT transformation and this checkbox to filter reports to be downloaded.

@nielsm5 do you still want that we remove the dropdown for spacing of the debug table? Do you still want that we uniformly use checkboxes or dropdown menu? I can make a checkbox "report generator enabled" instead of the dropdown.

• The tabs don't look like tabs.
• The header is very long and the text is not centered.
• There is no padding left and right.
• Enabled/Disabled is still a dropdown and not a toggle.
