Describe the bug
Recordly Screen Recorder Software Bug Feedback Report
1. Bug Title
【Core Function Abnormality】Recordly program interface freezes after startup, all controls on the main interface are unclickable and non-interactive (Windows 10 22H2 Environment)
2. Severity Level & Priority
- Severity Level: P0 Fatal (The core functions of the program are completely unavailable, the main interface is unresponsive, and core recording-related functions cannot be used normally)
- Fix Priority: High (Directly blocks the basic usage process of the software, making it impossible to complete core operations)
3. Problem Overview
After the Recordly screen recorder software is launched and running, the main interface enters an unresponsive and frozen state immediately after rendering is completed. All interface buttons and functional controls fail to respond to mouse click interactions, and no core recording-related operations can be performed. The program can be closed normally by right-clicking the Recordly icon in the system tray and triggering the exit option, without the need to forcibly end the process. Attempts to restart the computer and reinstall the software have been made, but the issue is still stably reproducible.
4. Reproduction Steps
Prerequisites
- The full installation of Recordly screen recorder software has been completed, with no errors or file missing prompts during the installation process
- The Windows system is running normally, no high-load programs in the background occupy system resources, and there are no system-level abnormal error reports
- The system security software does not block the startup and operation-related processes of the software
Operation Steps
- Double-click the Recordly launcher on the desktop or in the software installation directory to open the software
- Wait for the main interface of the software to be fully loaded and all controls to be completely rendered
- Use the left mouse button to click any functional button, menu or interactive control in the interface to attempt to perform an operation
- Continuously observe the response status of the software's main interface and process operation, and test the right-click function of the tray icon at the same time
5. Actual Result
After the software is launched, the main interface is fully displayed, but immediately enters an unresponsive and frozen state. All mouse click operations receive no feedback, the main interface cannot perform any interaction, and the core recording functions are completely unavailable. but it can be closed normally by right-clicking the Recordly icon in the system tray and triggering the exit option. It has been verified many times that the issue is 100% stably reproducible after restarting the computer and uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
6. Expected Result
After the software is successfully launched normally, the main interface can normally respond to all interactive operations such as mouse clicks, all functional buttons can be triggered normally, and the core functional processes such as recording preparation, start, pause, and stop can be entered smoothly, without interface freezing or unresponsiveness issues.
