I am mostly a JS developer, working mainly with React Native for the last 2 years. I bought the new macbook pro 16" i9 model with 16GB RAM. It was a good deal on Amazon. I have been wondering ever since I got it, if I should fork out the extra £700 to get the custom build with 32GB RAM with the i9 or even go with the i7 with 32GB. I saw also that you have the i9 32GB.
TLDR: Do I need 32GB RAM for JS/Mobile development in the next 2-3-4 years or should I enjoy my discounted i9 with 16GB RAM
