Could it simulate dual layer flat panel detector? If I want to simulate a dual-layer flat-panel detector, which part of the code should I modify? Thanks!

You'll need to replace the detection part by your dual layer detection model.

In the scanner cfg, the following specifies the detection model. By default, for Energy Integration CT, it's:
scanner.detectionCallback = "Detection_EI" # name of function that defines the detection process (conversion from X-rays to detector signal)

You'll need to create your own detection function that handles two layer's detection, based on Detection_EI.py.
And set scanner.detectionCallback to point to it.

The output will be [col-row, bin], which has two bins.
You will want to skip Prep because of the default Prep cannot handle two-bin data, by setting:
ct.do_prep = 0

Then, the raw data will be output as [view row col bin], where you may apply your spectral CT data processing and recon.
