I've been working on a mod that replaces a shpk file and some users reported extremely slow redraw times & sound cut off, extremely rare but happens consistently to those users.
I can't reproduce it on my machine no matter what settings I play with but the two affected users are willing to offer logs and info for troubleshooting.
I verified that my shpk is NOT the culprit - I gave them a .pmp that is a pure vanilla skin.shpk file, zero bytes changed. They installed the modpack, disabled mine and restarted their game, the issue persisted.
One of them said the issue went away after restarting their PC - but came back an hour later.
In the penumbra log from one of the two it shows about 2500~ redraw attempts in a 14 seconds window, which explains the "long redraw" and "sound cutoff".
What data would you need from the affected users to narrow this down? My bet is on either GPU driver gimmicks or penumbra.
Thank you.
