[REQUEST FOR INFORMATION] Difference between releases 0.4.7 and 1.0.0

I'm sorry this does not exactly count as an issue, but I wanted a way to contact the maintainers.
My organisation is planning to upgrade from 0.4.7 to 1.0.0 and apart from no support to Python 2, are there any major syntax changes/developments we need to be aware of? I apologise for creating an issue for the same, I couldn't find an exact changelog.

You don't need to worry about it. 0.4.7 and 1.0.0 has no difference except for Python 2 support.

Can I ask you how do you use this library if it is not a dependency of methodtools or ring? It will be great if wirerope got another interesting use case.

Thank you so much for the clarification
As far as I could analyse our project, I think we use it as a dependency of ring. However, I'm just getting started with the package upgrades, so if I find out any new use case I'll definitely ping you
