Snippets Not Expanding Properly

What happened?

Snippets Not Expanding as Expected. Seems to only happen with the ones containing $TM_SELECTED_TEXT$

I was able to reproduce and playing around with the init options available did not improve the UX. It might be time for #158 to be merged.

With the released version of the proxy in v6.8.17 the snippets are now going to work. Thanks for raising the issue
