Can I use this extension just for syntax highlighting?

Is it possible to use this extension just for syntax highlighting? In other words, to not use an LSP at all?

I am new to Typst, and I would like to try it out with just the compiler and some syntax highlighting before I commit to an LSP / preview features / etc.

From the Zed's documentation, you can manually disable the LSP in the settings:
