How to clean a file for lasersaur
Open Inkscape and change the setting to that :

Copy and paste the dirty file.
Turn into the "contour" view. Because the laser doesn't care about the thickness of your stroke.

Ungroup everything by selecting all (ctrl+A) then ungroup a couple of time (ctrl+shift+G).
Switch to the nod pointer, and check that every path is connected

If not, connect them. How ?
How to connect two different objects ?

- First, check that they each object have their paths connected.
- Select all, and do a little combined paths (ctrl+K)

- Now the objects are joined, just need to clean where you don't want your laser to cut.
