- MERRA2 ten year climatology data has been long flipped from -180 to 180 to 0 to 360 degree in order to decrease the computation cost.
- MERRA2 interpolation code has been overhauled and the memory usage has been decreased 96 times (96 processors) for C768L127 with MERRA2 72 levels data.
- The workflow for C768L127 with MERRA2 is tested in DELL, Hera, and Orion.

Dustin, The answer is yes or no. yes at this point. No in the future when
radiation is upgraded.

If I understand correctly, no changes are needed to the G/GP radiation
schemes to use the MERRA aerosols?

Dustin, I cannot tell how and what we should do on radiation_aerosols.f
when MERRA2 is coupled with RRTMGP. We will be in close corporation with
Robert and Qingfu, much of the work might be handled by them.

Great to hear.
This PR contains changes to the aerosol amount provided to the radiation
schemes. Both RRTMG and RRTMGP use radiation_aerosols.f to compute the
LW/SW aerosol optical properties (optical depth, single scattering albedo
and asymmetry parameter) from this aerosol amount.
Can you speak to the future radiation upgrades? (I only ask because
radiation_aerosols.f is a bit of a mess and doesn't fit perfectly with how
we do things in RRTMGP. So if there are changes to this code, just keep me
in the loop)
