ProjectUpdate Lite is a free starter for founders and small teams that need one daily project control loop instead of scattered repo checks, Slack messages, and manual status updates.

It produces a local project brief, flags approval-needed work, and gives you a simple queue format you can extend into Jira, Slack, Notion, or Google Workspace.

What It Does

• Reads the current git branch and working tree status.
• Creates a markdown project brief.
• Separates changed files from approval-needed actions.
• Writes a local projectupdate-output/summary.md.
• Keeps execution approval-gated by default.
