A simple and responsive movie search application built with React, using The Movie Database (TMDb) API to fetch and display movies. The app allows users to search for movies, view movie details, and get a glimpse of trailers on hover.

Clone the repository:

Install dependencies:
npm install

Create a .env file in the root of the project and add your API key for TMDb:

Run the app:
npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser.
This app uses the TMDb API to fetch movie data. It also uses Appwrite for tracking search frequency and managing trending movies.

/search/movieAPI endpoint from TMDb. - Trending Movies: Managed by Appwrite's database with search counts.
- Add user authentication (sign up / login)

- Implement pagination for movie results
- Add more filters (genre, year, etc.) to search
