RESEARCH OVERVIEW > This research addresses the critical bottlenecks of cloud-based AI by pioneering a decentralized framework for Edge-level intelligence. By introducing an "Optimization Triad" that balances Data, Model, and System constraints, the work demonstrates how to deploy enterprise-grade models on resource-limited hardware like NVIDIA Jetson and Google Edge TPU. Through the use of quantization, neural pruning, and knowledge distillation, this chapter provides a roadmap for achieving low-latency, privacy-centric decision-making directly at the data source, eliminating the need for centralized processing.
