This PR introduces a micro-UX improvement to the login flow:

  1. Accessibility: Added ARIA labels and roles to the login form, making it more usable for screen reader users.
  2. Error Handling: Replaced a disruptive browser alert with a smooth, non-blocking inline error message.
  3. Interactivity: The error message now automatically disappears as the user types, providing a more modern and pleasant experience.
  4. Project Hygiene: Updated .gitignore to keep the repository clean of temporary files and lockfiles.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 5262337850652406314 started by @BenjaminWie

P2 Badge Move prop-to-state sync out of render

Updating state during render (setError/setPrevExternalError) is not supported in React and can cause repeated renders or warnings in Strict/Concurrent mode when externalError changes. This sync should happen in a useEffect watching externalError; otherwise every prop change triggers a render-time state update which can lead to unstable behavior under React 18’s double-invocation rendering.
