If you get an error upon launching, install .NET Framework 4.7.2.

- Ensure that Git is installed on your PC and configured for committing.
- Install the program from here along with sample images.
- If you want to create your own pixel art, ensure you're using Photoshop or any image editing program. Edit
empty_template.pngin thesamplesfolder. - Use
BlackorTransparentfor the background and draw anything you want. You can use any color for your pixel art, but make sure the background isBlack. - After saving the image, create a new repository on your GitHub account. Make sure you select "Create README file" and clone the repository to anywhere you want on your PC.
- After that, launch
PixelArtToCommitHistory.exein thePixelArtToCommitHistoryfolder. - Select the year for which you want to create pixel art in the Git history.
- Write the cloned Git repository path into the first input.
- Write the path of your edited
empty_template.pngor any of sample pixel arts into the second input. - Then, if you think everything is fine, click the
Commitbutton and wait for the progress to finish. - After that, simply press
Pushto push the repository to your GitHub account, and you're done.
