Dependencies and Risks

Once our application/website is ready to be deployed we will be relying heavily on Heroku and it’s functionality. We will also need to ensure that our database will work and play well with Heroku.

We will be be using CircleCi to test our site and ensure that it has the appropriate coverage. We will need to rely on CircleCi and ensure that it will not only test the PHP code but also the JavaScript and JQuery Code.

During the process of building our website, we will be learning how to analyze the user’s input to predict the results.

Our teammates each have their different levels of knowledge so we will have to readjust throughout the semester on who will be doing what and ensure we are in constant communication to ensure none of the user stories, functionality, and milestones are meet.

We will also be relying on Cloud9 and GitHub throughout the process of developing our project. So if anything goes wrong on those sides, we will be at risk of losing our project.

We will be depending on an API to grab the popularity and rating of the different producers and actors/actresses - so if anything should fail on that end, we will have some issues with the movie predictions and it will cause us to need to re-plan our project and find an alternative approach.
