How to start as developer

What software / tools need to be installed as developer?

Development tools

• Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.8

• Apache Maven 3.5+

• Git

• Docker, Docker Machine.

• VSCode

Preferred IDE

• IntelliJ.

• In case you don’t like IntelliJ, use Eclipse.

• IDE Plugins: FindBugs, SonarLint, PMD

Preferred OS

• Linux based OS, preferred Ubuntu.

• In case of Windows, install GitBash.
