Project 3: TATAPI

Project Description: A mobile turn-based game played through an API.

MVP: A game that stores information in a database and retrieves it upon various actions. Account creation, leaderboard, regular and admin level users.

Timeline:

• Week 1: Refine project details, deliverables, write user stories, select technologies, etc.
• Week 2: Implement Database applications into main app
• Week 3: Finish creation of Gameplay loop, flush out any Database errors
• Week 4: Final implmenetation of state saving, gameplay loop tweaked as necessary, final bug fixes, misc. cleanup, playtesting, final polish.

Main Project Idea:

Utilizing a database created with back4app, and accessing it via parse, we developed a turn-based RPG that pulls relevant information down from the database.

Player can backout of app and save their gameplay state, and resume upon logging in.

A leaderboard stored on the database also keeps track of how far each player got when they lost.
