ets2-beacon-horn-plugin lets you control the beacon light and horn in Euro Truck Simulator 2 using a simple key press. Hold the J key to turn the beacon light on or off, and sound the horn at the same time. This makes it easier to signal while driving without using the game’s menu or multiple buttons.

Before you begin, make sure ETS2 is running with the telemetry plugin enabled. You can enable telemetry in the game settings under Options > Gameplay > Enable Telemetry

Download the zip file or executable for Windows.

Extract the zip file to a folder on your computer.

Place the extracted plugin files in the telemetry plugin folder used by ETS2.
A common path is:
Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\plugins\If there is no
pluginsfolder, create one. -
Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Press the J key during gameplay to toggle your beacon and horn.
Once the plugin is installed and ETS2 is running with telemetry enabled:
- Hold J to switch your beacon light on or off.
- The horn will sound at the same time you turn the beacon on or off.
- Pressing J again will turn the beacon off and stop the horn.
You do not need to open any menus or use any other keys. This allows you to keep your hands on the wheel while signaling.
If the plugin does not work as expected:
- Check that ETS2 telemetry is enabled.
- Verify you placed the plugin files in the right folder.
- Make sure you downloaded the latest version from the release page.
- Restart the game after installing the plugin.
- Confirm that you are pressing the J key during gameplay.
- Some third-party mods or plugins may conflict. Disable others if problems continue.
