It's a tool for verifying and generating data, such as a bank account and other data, based on open data and regulatory documents adopted mainly by the Russian Federation.
Several quick start options are available:
- Download the latest release
- Clone the repo:
git clone https://github.com/DmitryBNT/VerGenTool.git
Stable releases
New features and fixes are continuously merged into the master branch, which is what the above command will check out. For the latest stable release, see the Github Releases page.
Beta Releases
As mentioned above, new features and fixes are constantly being merged into the mainline, but beta releases are very rare. Therefore, to get the latest functionality changes that are not included in the stable release, you can use the command above.
- Generation of a bank account.
- Calculation of the control key of a bank account.

VerGenTool will be maintained under the Semantic Versioning guidelines as much as possible. Releases will be numbered with the following format:
<major>.<minor>.<patch>

This is needed for transparency into our release cycle and in striving to maintain backward compatibility. Sometimes we screw up, but we adhere to those rules whenever possible.
