I came across your script a few days ago. In trying to set it up, I came across an issue when trying to work on system using btrfs for the file-system. I believe this issue is referenced in #1 . I don't claim to be even a passable coder, honestly this is my first contribution to anything, but I believe this resolves the issue. I tested on btrfs and on ext4, and it seemed to work fine in both cases. I hope this is useful to you.
