Summary

  • Render emoji via Twemoji SVGs for consistent cross-platform display.
  • Override only the Iran flag with Twemoji's Lion and Sun (Shir-o-Khorshid) artwork via a local SVG and Twemoji's callback (everything else stays on the published Twemoji CDN).

Test plan

  • Confirm emoji in posts, comments, and display names render as Twemoji images
  • Confirm the Iran flag emoji shows the Lion and Sun flag
  • Confirm other emoji still load from the default Twemoji CDN
  • Confirm yarn test / lint pass for touched files
