Privacy Policy extension for phpBB

Adds an option for the user to accept the use of cookies under EU Cookie Directive (2012), and the privacy requirements under the GDPR Directive (2018)

Minimum Requirements

• phpBB 3.2.0
• PHP 5.4

Install

1. Download the latest release and unzip it.
2. Unzip the downloaded release and copy it to the ext directory of your phpBB board.
3. Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Manage extensions.
4. Look for Privacy policy under the Disabled Extensions list and click its Enable link.

Usage

1. Navigate in the ACP to Extensions -> Privacy policy -> Privacy policy settings.
2. Edit the settings to suit your requirements.
3. Navigate in the ACP to Extensions -> Privacy policy -> Policy files editor.
4. Edit the text files for your own requirements.

Uninstall

1. Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Manage extensions.
2. Click the Disable link for Privacy policy.
3. To permanently uninstall, click Delete Data, then delete the privacypolicy folder from phpBB/ext/david63/.
