๐ I am Garrett Moore, an undergraduate at the University of Georgia majoring in computer systems engineering and electrical & electronics engineering. In addition, I am pursuing a minor in computer science and certificate program in cybersecurity & privacy.
๐ธ Outside the world of tech, I enjoy pushing myself to develop new skills. Some hobbies of mine are trainging martial arts, practicing cardistry, and building guitars.
๐ I love reading books on philosophy & mystery. My favorite ones are Meditations by Marcus Aurelius in the philosophy genre and Death on Gokumon Island by Seishi Yokomizo in the mystery genre.
On campus I participate in a variety of clubs, student organizations, and research, including:
- Co-founding Advanced Research in Exploitation & Security (ARES) Lab, UGA's first undergraduate cybersecurity lab. Likewise, I serve as Head of Embedded Systems Security Research.
- Small Satellite Research Lab (SSRL) RF Engineer, where I design the software and hardware behind our custom radio interface. Similarly, I work on the LEARNSat project as an embedded software engineer developing affordable cubesats for schools' educational research projects.
- Dev Dogs, where I served as the Algorithms Team Lead for the Spring 2025 semester.
- SHPE, Physics Club, and many more!
