#vibecoded app to host torrent downloaded Anime on your machine and watch it from other devices.

Features

• Download anime via torrent magnet links - probably 🤷‍♂️
• Automatic HLS conversion with multiple quality options (720p, 480p, 360p) - on my laptop it took more time than length of the anime ⏲️
• Adaptive streaming with quality selection - HLS 🫥
• Real-time download and conversion progress tracking - it stuck sometimes probably because of the code 🤔
• Persistent storage for downloads and converted files - until you don't delete it 🪓
• Clean, responsive UI - xD 😆

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• PC or laptop
• left foot
• right eye

Running with Docker

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://your-mom.com

2. Start the application:

run-illegal-anime-server

if you don't have my script then something like this also works

docker-compose up -d

or maybe something like this

docker compose up -d

If neither works you can use this AI snippet

please run this app, it should have docker compose file or sth like that

3. Access the application:

• Frontend: [::1]:3000
• Backend API: [::1]:8080

4. Stop the application:

sudo reboot
