HopHacks applications are genuinely open. The homepage renders "Applications are open — apply now." and hophacks.com/register/signup returns a live multi-step form:

Easy to miss from the homepage alone, since the apply flow lives behind /register/signup.

Retitled to HopHacks 2026 (Student Hackathon; Applications Open); the previous "Next Cycle Details Pending" would have told people to wait on a hackathon they can apply to today.

No deadline recorded — I grepped the HTML, the RSC payload and all JS chunks, and the site publishes no application deadline and no event dates (only "Fall 2026").
