PathFinder_brouter-web

Introduction:

A project on Routing Hotel location, countributed by

  1. Shaikh Shahidul Islam.
  2. Andreas Möllhoff.
  3. Pooja Naringrekar.
  4. Kennedy Nwankwo.

This Project will allow you to realtime routing for the hotel locations. It allows users to select the buffer area and and find a numbers of available hotels within that selected buffer zone. However, user can also edit (expand and reduce) buffer area for searching the hotels.

This Projct was forked from the following existing project and added frontend "Hotel" searching functionalities.

Web client (by @nrenner and contributors) for the BRouter routing engine (by @abrensch).

Translating

Translations are managed using the Transifex platform. After signing up, you can go to BRouter's project page, select a language and click Translate to start translating.

Preparation

Pre-requisites: access to a terminal, Yarn, nodejs, npm, and gulp.

If yarn is not yet installed, the instruction here can be followed to carry out the installation of yarn, afterward install nodejs via package manager here ( if not already installed) this is in-order to get updates. To install the gulp package, run the code below in your terminal, which also downloads other nodejs dependencies:

Sudo apt -get install gulp

Sudo apt upgrade

Lastly install npm using


npm install

This resolves all the dependencies of brouter web and installs all required packages.
