Parked design option — do NOT merge. Not a release. Kept open only for the Vercel Preview link and for future reference.

This is a saved exploration, not V27. The version bump, changelog entry, and what's-new toast were reverted, so the repo does not claim a release and the next version number stays open.

What's here (the skeleton)

Marketing-site-only redesign (editor /editor/ untouched), dual-mode:

  • Dark-glass kept as default and elevated (purposeful glass, solid headlines, higher contrast, .frame/.chip components).
  • Opt-in editorial-light "Gallery" theme via html[data-theme="light"] + a persistent toggle (no-FOUC pre-paint script).
  • 24-page theme-compat sweep; nav background tokenized so it themes correctly.

Preview

Vercel preview is on this PR's checks/comment (branch deploy, preview-only).

To revive later (the polish that makes it pop)

  1. Real, varied product imagery in the frames (currently a single placeholder image — the main reason it reads flat).
  2. Impeccable bolder / delight / overdrive / polish passes (motion, depth, chromatic energy).
  3. Then re-bump version + re-add the changelog/what's-new entries if shipping.

Add impeccable design context (PRODUCT.md / DESIGN.md)

Run the impeccable init flow for SnapShotPro:
- root PRODUCT.md + DESIGN.md capture the brand (marketing site) register
  and the current visual system (deep-navy / glass / cobalt, Geist + JetBrains Mono).
- editor/PRODUCT.md + editor/DESIGN.md capture the editor/studio surface as the
  product register, focused on the studio UI tokens and IA.

to an editorial-light 'Gallery' aesthetic with refined liquid-glass accents.
Locked: cobalt accent, light+dark toggle, Schibsted Grotesk display, redrawn
solid-cobalt mark. Includes signed-off prototype + skill-audit results.
Editor studio UI rebrand deferred to V30.

- Hero frame aspect matches og.png so nothing is cropped
- Gallery: one screenshot on three distinct backdrops, contained not cropped
- nav background was still hardcoded dark navy; now uses --nav-bg/--nav-bg-scrolled tokens so it goes light in light mode

Not shipping as a release: revert version bump, changelog entry, and
whats-new toast to pre-redesign state. The redesign itself (dual-mode
tokens, theme toggle, framed components, 24-page sweep) stays on the
branch as a saved option. Docs reframed as parked/future-version.
Next step when revived: real product imagery + Impeccable polish passes.
