🧱 Minecraft Helper Bot

A PatchFest Game Automation Project (Node.js + Mineflayer)

📘 Overview

Minecraft Helper Bot is a collaborative open-source automation bot built using the mineflayer library for Minecraft Java Edition servers.
The bot connects to a server and responds to chat commands, enabling automation tasks such as movement, collecting resources, inventory management, and more.

This repository is the starter base for PatchFest contributors to expand the bot into a powerful survival gameplay assistant through structured issues & pull requests.

🎯 Project Goal

Transform this basic bot into a feature-rich automation assistant by adding:

  • Intelligent movement & navigation (.come x y z, .follow)
  • Mining & resource collection (.mine, .tree)
  • Inventory management (.throwall, .listitems)
  • Automation tasks & scheduling
  • Optional natural-language AI command interpretation
  • Game modes & challenges

Current version includes:

  • Basic bot connection
  • .hello command for testing functionality
