Aldeias Portuguesas Sample Data

Small public sample dataset from aldeiasportuguesas.pt.

This repository publishes a limited, structured sample of Portuguese parishes for transparency and light reuse without exposing the full project.

What is included:

• 56 parishes total
• up to 2 parishes per top-level district or island unit
• basic structured fields only
• CSV and JSON formats

What is not included:

• editorial articles
• images
• prompts or internal workflows
• admin or publishing tooling
• the full dataset

Selection method

The sample is deterministic:

1. Records are normalized from the public frontmatter used by the site.
2. Parishes are grouped by the project's top-level unit (distrito or island unit).
3. Up to 2 parishes per top-level unit are selected by ascending official DICOFRE code.

Some island units contain only one parish in the project structure, so the dataset includes every available entry for those cases.

This is a sample for inspection and testing, not a representative ranking or a marketing shortlist.
