💡 What:

  • Replaced the static cancel icon inside the profile page domain search bar with a clear button logic that toggles a non-interactive search icon and an interactive clear search icon based on the input text.
  • Replaced the static id attribute for <Title> and <Content> in src/components/Record.svelte dialogs with a random id to ensure proper a11y labels when multiple dialogs are spawned in a loop.

🎯 Why:

  • Ensure a proper search affordance experience (there shouldn't be a cancel icon when search input is empty).
  • Screen readers rely on unique IDs to properly label dialogs, multiple components with the same ID will confuse users using assistive technologies.

♿ Accessibility:

  • Unique IDs for Dialog aria-labelledby and aria-describedby mappings.
  • aria-label="clear search" added to the clear action button for context.
