docs(license): grant use/modify rights to MinistryPlatform customers#10
Merged
Conversation
Replace the proprietary "all rights reserved" LICENSE with a custom MinistryPlatform Customer License: active MP customers may use, modify, extend, and share modifications with other MP customers; no resale and no distribution to non-customers; grant terminates when MP customer status ends. Update package.json license to "SEE LICENSE IN LICENSE" (UNLICENSED implied no rights) and align the README License section. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary
Replaces the proprietary "all rights reserved"
LICENSEwith a custom MinistryPlatform Customer License. What changed
LICENSE— active MinistryPlatform customers may use, modify, extend, and share modifications with other MP customers. No resale of the Software itself (but charging for your own services built on it is allowed), no distribution to non-customers, and the grant terminates automatically when MP-customer status ends. AS-IS warranty/liability disclaimer retained.package.json—"UNLICENSED"→"SEE LICENSE IN LICENSE"(UNLICENSED implied no rights granted, which now contradicts the grant).README.md— License section aligned to the new terms.Notes
