Intern @ Timo Self-Management Software (August 2021 - August 2022)

  • Managed blogs on user experiences and habit tracking for the Timo mobile app, a self-management task scheduler targeted at children and young adults.
  • Worked with the development team to conceptualize new features that enhance the user experience. (Ex: home-screen layout, gamification of tasks)
  • Led the blog team’s workflow to meet content delivery quotas.

Head of Programming @ NYU Engineering and Design Finalist (January 2023 - June 2023)

  • Collaborated with a small team to develop a 4-button gamepad compatible with rhythm games.
  • Programmed Arduino code to synchronize LED lights on the gamepad with music.
  • Achieved top finalist status among over 40 engineering teams.

America Reads Tutor (February 2024 - Present)

  • Paid tutoring for underprivileged middle schoolers in the NYC public school district.
  • Working with teachers to assist struggling students with reading comprehension and math.
  • Affiliated with NYU's work-study program.

Programming Tutor @ K-Group (October 2020 - March 2021)

  • Tutored students in Scratch and Python programming.
  • Developed programming curricula for autonomous robots (Hamster robot, drone).
  • Created presentation slides in PowerPoint for teaching class syllabi.

Projects

4-Button Gamepad for Rhythm Games

Project Site

As part of a finalist team in NYU's Engineering and Design competition, contributed to the development of a 4-button gamepad designed to enhance gameplay experience in rhythm games. Programmed Arduino code for LED light synchronization with music.

Autonomous Robot Programming

Tutored students in programming autonomous robots, including a Hamster robot and a drone. Developed educational materials and guided students through coding challenges.
