Summary: Introduce and use new forcing files for CMIP7 for 1850 compsets

Changes made to the namelist: None

Changes to the defaults for the boundary datasets:

  • New solar forcing for CMIP7
  • New UBC files for 1850
  • New LBC files for LT compsets for 1850
  • New prescribed ozone file for 1850
  • New surface emission files for 1850
  • New oxidant forcing files for 1850
  • New volcanic AOD for 1850

Substantial timing or memory changes: None

  • Updated use case files or 1850 runs for both trop_mam_oslo and ghg_mam_oslo chemistry.
  • Updated solar forcing for HIST runs
  • Fixed bug in CO2 cycle for when aircraft CO2 is not present
  • Removed unsupported CMIP6 CESM compsets and tests

Testing:

  • aux_ cam_noresm on Betzy: expected namelist and baseline changes
  • aux_ cam_noresm on Olivia: expected namelist and baseline changes

@gold2718 it looks fine for me. Maybe you can add in the description of the pull request that for 1850 also the oxidants and volcanic AOD have been updated.
