Once you accept it, I can officially assign you as a reviewer for this section. You can see the changes in source files at https://github.com/OpenMathBooks/what-do-mathematicians-do/pull/12/files (for instance, you can see that I'm editing section 1.1)

You can also see what the new section would look like by clicking the latest "View Deployment" button above.

I'd appreciate your feedback before merging this in! Next time we sync up, I can show you a few useful GitHub features to help communicate your feedback, but for now dropping comments here is great.
