This PR:

  • moves shell scripts from https://github.com/Percona-QA/percona-qa/tree/master/backup_tests into server-qa repo
  • migrates some of the scripts to python
  • scripts which are migrated to python are moved to "old" directory (just to be able to quickly check if something is missing from the shell functionality)
  • README.md file is added with the instructions on how to run the scripts

New scripts features

  • variables set from environment and not by editing the script code
  • helper class for tests
  • all logs and data directories are created in one test base directory
  • test suites support
  • verbose and not verbose output mode
  • junit report in jenkins
