When fps is low, say <60, auto disable polyblur and send out a toaster/message saying Poor performance detected, disabled polyblur. To force enable, go to mod settings.. This way polyblur wont reduce fps on low end devices and make the game a blurry mess.
Possible considerations:
FPS may occasionally dip/freeze, inaccurately disabling the mod. Since users will have the option to force enable it (no matter the fps), maybe not big of an issue.
Alternatives: Let oneclient check your specs to determine if polyblur should be on (this will be a oneclient change rather than polyblur one. OR, oneclient onboarding with different presets to choose from where the lowend/best fps one doesnt come with polyblur. At the very least, have a warning about FPS impact in polyplus onboarding.
