We're looking for field docstrings, but in theory there could be constants that are not strings. In practice, there is no purpose for those, but we shouldn't crash on them.
Despite describing the type of values, `GenericAlias` is not actually a subclass of `type`.

Note that e18818c is actually a fix for a bug that mypy spotted, so include it in the release notes.
