Summary

Adds scripts/weak/modeling.py — the weak-lensing model-fit tutorial completing the simulate → fit → model core workflow of the series — and mirrors the new weak_dataset/fit_weak visualize/plots.yaml sections into the workspace config.

Companion to PyAutoLabs/PyAutoLens#580 (al.AnalysisWeak). Library-first merge gate: merge the library PR before this one. Tracking issue: PyAutoLabs/PyAutoLens#579.

Scripts Changed

  • scripts/weak/modeling.py (new) — Nautilus Isothermal fit to the simulated WeakDataset via al.AnalysisWeak; auto-simulates the dataset if missing; validated end-to-end (recovered einstein_radius = 1.556 (1.476–1.631) vs truth 1.6, ~7 min CPU; the search's own VisualizerWeak produced the on-the-fly subplots).
  • config/visualize/plots.yaml — adds weak_dataset / fit_weak sections mirroring the new packaged defaults.

Validation checklist (--auto run — plan was not pre-approved)

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- Nautilus fit of an Isothermal mass model to the simulated WeakDataset via the
new al.AnalysisWeak (PyAutoLens feature/weak-modeling), completing the
simulate -> fit -> model core workflow of the weak-lensing series
- Auto-simulates dataset/weak/simple if missing, mirroring imaging/modeling.py
- Mirrors the new weak_dataset / fit_weak visualize/plots.yaml sections into the
  workspace config

Step 4 of the weak-lensing series (PyAutoLabs/PyAutoLens#579).
