Locating keyways in MidBlock and PTcover substantially reduce relative translations and rotations. AluBar tensioner removes requirement for spacers and allows for adjustable tension on bars to increase rigidity. 2x M5x12mm BHCS screw into 'Tensioner' from back of stock.

Interesting changes, I will look into them more tomorrow! I do have a bar tensioner already designed for the upcoming Alchemist blaster, which is based on Cynthia. It might be good to port over that bar tensioner, but I will still look into your system. |

The original design allowed a lot of slop between the PT cover and MidBlock. I've added locating keyways to both to lock them relative to each other. This works best when used in conjunction with the 'AluBarTensioner' components to apply tension to the aluminium bars, also removing the requirement for spacers.
The tensioner block has been designed for M5x12mm BHCS, as this is what I have available but can easily be changed to suit other similar imperial fasteners. Length should remain as close as possible to 12mm however to avoid interference with the catch or catch lever.
Alternate SCAR is based on the Trivictus version, just with a constant outer diameter rather than necking down towards the end.
