♻️ Plastic RRR (Recycle, Reduce, Reuse) System

A full-stack USSD + Web Admin Dashboard + API backend system for managing plastic waste collection, user rewards, and recycling points. Built with Node.js, Express, MongoDB, JWT authentication, and Africa’s Talking SMS API.

Plastic RRR is a digital waste management system that allows users to:

Register via USSD Submit plastic waste (in kg) Earn reward points Track submissions Get SMS feedback after approval/rejection

Admins can:

1. Clone repository git clone https://github.com/your-username/plastic-rrr.git cd plastic-rrr
2. Install dependencies npm install
3. Create .env file in root directory PORT=3000 MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string JWT_SECRET=your_super_secret_key

Run in terminal:

node -e "console.log(require('crypto').randomBytes(64).toString('hex'))" Generate Admin Password (hashed)

Run:

Copy result into:

ADMIN_PASS=... ▶️ Running the Project Start server node index.js

Or using nodemon:
