Align repository skills with the current copyright and commit policies. Use the LGPL-2.1-only header validator and document the repository's required scopes, platforms, title limits, and body validation rules. Teach the copyright checker to recognize headers inside Markdown YAML frontmatter. Validate staged headers, frontmatter metadata, and whitespace.
Enable Git rename detection when collecting changed files for copyright validation. Preserve historical headers on moved files while continuing to require the current-year header for genuinely new files. Validate the moved SDK and Skia files from their original commits.
Use the followed creation history when a changed path is reported as added. This preserves legacy ownership ranges for files moved and then edited enough to fall below Git's default rename-similarity threshold. Keep strict current-year headers for genuinely new files. Validate the exact CI range and the earlier SDK and Skia rename commits.
