Hello, I have been following the model predictions and this repo. I went ahead and implemented a version which uses just the Apple Maps data as the social distancing measure. Pretty much everything else in the model is the same. As you suggested it yields similar predictions, although it generally gives slightly wider confidence intervals.
I'm guessing it will be redundant with your PCA of the SafeGraph data, but if you want to combine those two data sets then feel free to use by code.
The files I added are just the needed data files and an Rmarkdown document which has a write-up and the R code for the model. Fell free to post or ignore for others to look through.
If I can help with any of your modelling efforts, let me know, I am pretty good with scraping and wrangling data and would be glad to help.
Best,
Kevin Hannay
