Switched everything around to make this actually look like an android studio project with the proper gradle support.

Previously we've just been using vanilla Intellij. Have you tested that out — did it not work? Does this retain compatibility with Intellij?

I haven't touched this project for more than 6+ months, I don't have much time to focus on this now (graduated), so I'm not particularly religious on staying with Intellij. I'd like to test that this works on another machine though — can you update the README.md with setup instructions for Android Studio and I will try to test it next week? And what OS did you set this up on?
