v1.8.0

What's Changed

Since v1.7.0, the USB enumerator performs active probing of the USB device to determine USB descriptor strings such as "configuration", "manufacturer", and "product". Unfortunately, this probing, even though it should be transparent in theory, adversely affects some devices. From v1.8.0 it's now disabled by default unless an explicit filter is provided to the enumerator.
