Summary

  • Replace the root MIT license with AGPL-3.0 and add Daytona-style NOTICE and COPYRIGHT files.
  • Add internal/cluster/LICENSE to restrict cluster-mode production/hosted use to a separate commercial license while keeping the code source-available for review and development.
  • Update README license badge, comparison row, contributing text, and SDK package metadata (TypeScript, Python, Rust, Java) to reflect AGPL-3.0.

Test plan

  • Verified only license-related files are included in this PR (no volume/cluster code changes from other work)
  • Confirm legal/commercial wording in internal/cluster/LICENSE matches intended policy
  • Review README license section for accuracy before merge
  • After merge, confirm published SDK metadata picks up AGPL on next release

Made with Cursor

Move the project from MIT to AGPL-3.0 (Daytona-style NOTICE/COPYRIGHT), add a separate cluster license for production use, and update README and SDK package metadata.
